Create a Noodletools LOGIN

1. Open Noodletools. Bookmark this on your toolbar.
2. Register for a Noodletools account using your ASW email.
      a. Click on LOGIN.  Click on register.  Enter your ASW email
      b. U: warsaw  P:library
      c. For phone number use 1234

3. Create a new project called Infographic.  Choose MLA as your default style.  Choose the junior level.
4. To start creating creating your citation, click on SOURCES then click on the green button:  +Create a new citation 
5. If you don't understand something, click in the box and an explanation will pop up. 
6. Also see the MLA Guide button in the upper right hand page for an example of how to cite the source. 
7. EXPORT your Works Cited (bibliography) to a google doc.  You have to allow pop ups for Noodletools for this to work.
 

 

MLA Vocabulary

MLA
MLA stands for the Modern Language Association.  It is the style guide used by most humanities disciplines.

In-Text Citation: 
An in-text citation is the information you put in parentheses after a quote in the body of your essay.  It looks like this: (Gladwell 5) (Author page number)  

Works Cited
Your bibliography is called the Works Cited.  It should be on a separate page at the end of your essay.
