G 9-10 Dance: Choreographers: Annotated Bibliography

Katie Stein

What is an annotated biblography?

A bibliography is a list of the works you have used for your research.

An annotated bibliography is the list of the works you have used with a 50-100 word paragraph under each source that analyzes the quality and content.  It may include the following:

  • Who wrote or is responsible for the work? What are their qualifications?
  • What is the content? Brief summary in sentences.
  • Why is the content useful? For what? Who is it for? Is the content complete and thorough?  If not, what is missing? How does it compare to other sources?
